The Last Dragons
of Blood Island

A Romantic High Fantasy

She’s a dragon rider. He is a DRAGON, but how does she beat the most majestic creature in Blood Island?

Solana Yinquirell has always known bloodline is the most important currency in Blood Island. That’s why she’s carried the shame of her mother’s treason her entire life, why her brother tried to kill her for being a bastard half-blood, and most importantly, why she’s prepared her entire life to gain her own prestige, aside from her father’s name, by becoming a rider to the rarest, most powerful creature in the continent.

Niasyr, the Golden Menace, is the biggest, most menacing, and elusive dragon who, following his own selfish plans, choses Solana and takes her out of the borders of the First City, branding her a deserter and a traitor, and destroying everything she’s fought so hard to build when he forces her to help him find answers to questions she never thought she’d have.
Solana is no match for a Dragon, physically, and she won’t let Niasyr tarnish her reputation, but even though she doesn’t have many choices, she knows she can stand a chance if she uses her own secret powers. She can pretend to help him while waiting for her chance to force him back and make a name for herself, but it’s a dangerous path as she needs to gain his trust for if she can’t unravel the mystery he deserted to solve, Niasyr will kill her.

Niasyr has his own secrets, the ominous calling, the betrayal, and he won’t share them with an Elf, not even if his own freedom depends on it. He can’t trust Solana, but he’ll use her to get what he wants, and he won’t hesitate to kill her if she gets in his way.
